Do you make money with your squidoo lens?

I've set up a couple of squidoo lens' but haven't seen any $$'s yet. Do you make money with your squidoo lens? How do you go about it? Tips and tricks appreciated.

 

I have made money from squidoo but not huge amounts although i have a few lenses but some people do quite well out of them it is like anything else if you work hard enough the rewards will come.

The squidoo forum is a good place to get some detailed lens advice.

 

ive found them to be a waste of time from a profitability standpoint.

 

well you wont make much money from royalties and all! but if you can manage to get massive traffic then squidoo will pay you good besides, provide a good content and legit product! if you can promote those then you can make some money!

 

Yes, squidoo will pay your for your lenses, depending on how well they rank. But remember, you'll get paid for August activity in the beginning of October. So if you just started, it will take a bit before you get your first payment.

I've never made much from Amazon/ebay royalties. But my own affiliate link on my lens does quite well.

 

Squidoo + Clickbank = the winning combo!

 

I haven't tried clickbank on it yet. I'm going to look into that when I am done with my current big project.

 

I make quite a bit of money with Squidoo, some of my top lenses are giving me a few hundred dollars a month from affiliate sales. And yes, clickbank + Squidoo = massive profits when used correctly.

Don't they add the 'nofollow' attribute to outgoing links though??

 

I haven't made any money from my Squidoo lenses. Not really sure what all of the hype is about. In fact, I don't see what the hype is about with most of the social stuff. It doesn't really seem to affect my sites one way or the other but I sure did spend a ton of time learning how they all work. Wish I could have been paid for my time! Then at least I could have said I made money with it!

 

The only time that the links are nofollow is when a new lens is in WIP status. After that they are dofollow.

No. Squidoo has a "do follow" attribute. It is one good way create links to your site. I have also some lenses on squidoo. They don't earn that much but at least they have some $$ paid to my Paypal account.

 

Well, I have earn 15 bucks from royalties, but a lot more from Squidoo traffic

 

I have not used squidoo lens for making money. I haven't made any money from my squidoo lenses. I use squidoo.com/How-to-Speed-Up-osCommerce for getting links / traffic for my website

 

I dont have a Squidoo lens, but Im considering making one. Is it worth it at all?
