Hi guys, I have decided to have a trial run on my wallpaper site. Do you think it is a good niche in Google Adsense? What is the average CPC in that area? cheers, mate, toby
Good content = Earnings Any niche can work you just have to get quality content of that niche and let the revenue come in.
This depends on bidding like if you are using some celebrity wallpapers than must search for good terms on her/his name and apply them in post . In wallpaper post try to add 4 to five lines with good keywords so you get relevant ads and earning will sure increase .
It isn't a high paying niche, but if you can get lot of traffic, then you can make decent money. I got a wallpaper site. It's still very new. Not sure about Adsense CPC. I am yet to add Adsense to my site, but from what others have told me, I think it won't average to more than 10 cents a click. The biggest issue is the bandwidth that the site consumes. Every now and then some rogue bot comes and eats away 100s of MBs of my bandwidth. Sometimes users look at 100+ wallpapers and eat up a large amount bandwidth. My site isn't hosted on a cheap host. I am a bit worried what will happen once the site starts getting decent traffic.
In my opinion, it can bring you real quick traffic but CTR and cost per click would be low. Regards -Jim
Although wallpaper niche is low paying But if you are having quality traffic then I guess you can earn decent amount with adsense
I do not know how much traffic you will be able to direct to your site, but in my opinion if you use image ads properly a good CTR can be obtained.

It won't be easy to get a lot of traffic on your site. There are too many similar sites out there. You would need tons of traffic to get decent money with adsense.
