Filezilla ftp connection help

    Hi everyone, for anyone that uses filezilla i wonder if you could help me with a problem i have, ive just downloaded it and im trying to connect to the webhosting company im with, but i keep getting this:

    Status: Resolving IP-Address for musicjunkee.net
    Status: Connecting to 208.116.34.163:21...
    Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
    Error: Could not connect to server
    Status: Waiting to retry...

    Im using windows xp, Any ideas?

    Then I think it's not letting you connect through the FTP Port, I mean the server's rejecting Incomming FTP connection in the Port it's trying to connect. Why dont you contact your web hosting company, I dont think the problem is in Filezilla.

    The hosting company i am with clearly states that i can use filezilla to connect to them though

    Tried that, didnt work, still kept coming up with the same thing

    Try to disable your firewall. Maybe it blocking port 21.

    Try to re-enter all data (domain name,userid,password) and login again.

    BTW are you able to login through cpanel very well :confused:

    Tried, still no luck :(

    Tried re-entering it all, still nothing and yea the cpanel is working fine

    If you still have a problem, my advise is to contact your hosting company. Sure they will know what is your problem.
