My site is a decent example. I've increased traffic from 200 uniques a day to 1000 uniques a day and my Alexa rank has gone UP not down like it should. Explain that? Oh wait, you can't. Alexa traffic is measured by the amount of visitors that visit your with WITH the Alexa tool bar.
??? I said that Alexa's rank show when a sites grows, and yo replied that i was ignorant because saying that... now you are saying the same thing i do... Which of your signatures are the site you are commenting? Yes, like many statistics that uses some part of the people to find out what the rest think or do... like the polls in the elections. Its not exact, but usually it does a pretty job.
No. I lol'd because you said "Alexa is very accurate." It's not very accurate at all. You'd have to be a bloody moron to think so.
I think you are rude. In second place, maybe you need to be someone that has many websites high ranked in Alexa to said that. Maybe in very low traffic sites, Alexa could fail. But no way to fail in site with high traffic. If at any moment anyone see a big increase of traffic, Alexa will show graphics that shows it. I had verify this in many ocasions. For high traffic sites, Alexa is VERY accrated. Maybe not for low traffic ones.
So it's all very dependent on the type of site? Which is weighted more? Number of visitors or type of site?
Depends on niche. If its a site full of not technologically advanced people you might need well over a thousand or even 2000 unique visits or more a day (according to google analytics) to get that number.
