Today is a typical day for AdSense on my new site that I've managed to bring to Google top 5 for a competitive phrase: Clicks: 11 | Total Earnings: $0.36 $0.03 by click??? This site is my first true SEO experience. I DID choose keywords that were supposed to pay very well. AdWords Keywords tool tells the "Estimated Avg. CPC" is $5. So I though I may have 0,50-1,00$ clicks maybe. But $0.03? Only 11 clicks/day is Ok, I was expecting that since it's a small niche with not that much traffic. But I was not expecting click value so low!!!! Any thoughs?

Google's pricing system is really weird. First, they do not release information to the ad placer of rates. They strongly request not to release any CPC or CPM stats of yours. Their rates differ greatly depending on the subject. You could have better results by altering your ad placement, Google has some tutorials themselves on how to optimize.
I don't want more traffic. I can't even have that much more traffic. I've been #1 in Google for some weeks. I want clicks that pay more than 0,03$.. In fact I think I'll just trash AdSense and start affiliate marketing. I can't believe I worked that hard to be #1 in Google to have 0,03$/click.

What do you mean? My site IS informative and is far from a spam site. In fact some people have even contacted me to say my site is nice. Content is not the problem. The problem is that AdSense sucks!
yea just wait things will get better and better. you just have to wait for it. im waiting for it too.
Then don't use adsense use other networks. There are people who don't even get over $0.01 per click. I sometimes get like 2 clicks for $0.01 So you are getting little more!
