I suppose it's time to update then :) Do you think I will have any problems with my WinXP SP3 + FF3 system?

    I'm sure you'll be fine.

It's not like OS X is much better, they surely have some security flaws too. It's just that hackers and virus creators focus on windows since is much more used.

I don't see why they update XP anymore. If they only sell vista in stores they should only have vista updates.

For my own security I never download security patches from Microsoft because I have seen they install thingies to control your system, your surfing, your life, your mind, your everything

think about that. it would be like if car MFG's did not offer a warranty of any kind...why would youy ever buy a new car then?

not everyone has 4-8GB of RAM which is what Vista needs to operate nicely ;)

    that's not an update!

MUST BUY UPGRADE, Vista Ultimate Mega Service Home Pro Gold Version

Thanks for the heads up, after reading your post I was checking that this version seems to have fixed the problems of the early Vista releases.

Have to give it a try :)

I had 10 updates for Vista the other day. But they didn't cause any problems with my FF2.

Ever consider that maybe MS just doesn't like you, Timmy? :p

And probably about 10 more mins trying to figure out how many hours it took. :p

My Opera will sometimes not do the quick reply, but other times it will... I actually never know when it's updating, because it does it automatically. I hate being in the middle of posting on a forum, talking to a friend, or designing a website and being asked if I want to update XP.

you know, I have had the same thing happen to me with Opera
maybe it's related to something else then?

FYI <> Got a warning for starting this is the Microsoft section....I guess it's not Microsofty enough

Good to know that there's a IE vs. FF thread or a IE7 thread and IE8 thread in the same section....that's obviously the correct category for those...and again I say
