Aw I think it's been fixed now. Wish I had seen it earlier!

 

It was probably a BBC employee playing a joke, I doubt anyone would be stupid enough to hack BBC.

 

LOL It was really funny.

I am sure there is some people out there stupid enough. Hackers will hack anything for any reason normally.

Well in this case, they were advertising a youtube video, so it must have had somthing to do with money, or something

 

Well, people often say that major corporations websites are impossible to hack. You mineaswell just tell the world that they can't do what they're good at.

 

lol from the impression i get of the radio 1 staff, it was probably someone who worked there just messing about.

 

Did anyone observe that the link on the website is not bbc it is bbbc

It might be a mistake. I dont know.

 

Youll be suprised how many big corporations websites are vulnerable on that note even government sites

Typo been fixed though now.

Hackers will do things alot of the time just to prove they can do it, the only other reason is a financial gain.
Personlly I find it quite strange that no "hacker" has taken responsibilty for doing it.
