Theres so many stupid people who click first and invest i virus software later. Thats why I have a good spam filter...Gmail.

Organized crime keeps getting more and more into internet fraud and using spyware and adware to make money. A lot of this is because technology in brick and morter stores is all electronic now so it makes it harder to launder money and extort businesses because it is hard to try to extort the corner wal-mart of starbucks for payments. You would be surprised how much organized crime there is though in a lot of these online casinos as well.

there are alot of scammers out there, best thing is to have a unique email adress to protect your email adress and only signing up to legit mailing lists that don't sell your email adress.

May god protect our emails,i can tell you russians are pretty good at it,my failed spam filter proves it everyday.

 

Yeah I have to admit that I am a big fan of Gmail's spam filter for this reason. I have all of my mail go through my spam assassin filters, etc. via my web host and then redirect into a gmail to further cut everything out, I get 1 spam in my inbox every 2 days or so with this method. Crazy russians.
