I occasionally see content from one of my websites posted on other websites and in forums. My annoyance decreases slightly when I see the site has included a link back to the relevant page because I figure that counts for some pagerank. But what about when the site uses redirector.php or a similar script? Then the link with keywords is picked up as a link to their own site so Google pagerank/linkjuice will be credited to the site that nicked my content in the first place. A double whammy? Or does Google figure that out and follow through with the link to give pagerank credit where it's due?
i don't think that it would gain any PR from doing this, I think it would be counted as a seperate URL, but i'm open to someone disputing this
PR of redirector.php would be transferred. if site.com/ goes to newsite.com/ then also pr is transferred.
