    i agree with silveradan, start with a blogger account, it'll be a lot easier than trying to get approved with a brand new URL.

    Well first read this forum as many threads as you can. Then goto blogger.com and make a blog post for 2 -3 months and then sign up for AdSense.

    Yeah, do not bother to apply for adsense before you feel your blogs are good in number and quality.

    If you are new and not sure about all these things, i recommend you to go with blogger.com and keep blogging there until you have enough experience to move on your own self hosted blog.
