yeah, in the end it worked out as it should have IMO. quite a rare treat for the USA having never finished 1-2 in the all around....and only the 3rd time a woman has received the gold, that was surprising to me. but don't they do a lot better in the winter games?
Yes and I think this World Record will stay for long time. By the way USA is ahead in overall tally: 1 CHN 27 13 9 49 2 USA 17 18 22 57 3 GER 9 5 5 19
I don't think Ryan Lochte got the attention he deserves. http://www.travelsnippetsandmore.com/2008/08/ryan-lochtes-olympic-feat.html
Sullivan very nearly spoilt the party for Phelps towards the end, but Lezak held on. Kitajima did well for Japan too. Beijing will be remembered as the Phelps Olympics.
What the H does that mean The last relay was something else but it was no 4x100 Still, 8 golds is insane!
Well Three Indian boxers in Q/F and among them two will play tomorrow and one is Tuesday. Anyone win next match will confirm a medal for India.
Dara Torres did the same thing with her 2 back-to-back races. Her races were 39 minutes apart and she got silvers in both.
Usain Bolt is so f@#*ing fast! did you see him celebrate with 20 meters left in the race? That was the biggest margin in a 100m, he crushed them and was joking around before and after the race! and the 200m is his best event still to come! His speed is superhuman
I did see that, it was pretty amazing! I was a little disappointed that he gave up. He could of crushed the world record if he would of ducked his head and ran through the finish Why not wait to celebrate until after the race was over? It was only .5 seconds more, couldn't you wait?
