What is approx. number for getting into alexa 100000......i know it is everchanging.....but for last 5 days my average site visit is 4000......is their any chance
No way. I have 4k per day in a site (not in my sig), and im on 130 k Alexa's ranking. In the past i get some site to 20k Alexa's rank with 15 k daily visitors. I guess for being in top 100k you need at least 5 or 6 k daily visitors.
It really depends on the site and whether or not the users have the alexa toolbar installed, although that carries less weight then it used to. I am in the 130k range with 1,100ish visitors a day.
Alexa is stupid and has nothing to do with the amount of unique visitors. It has to do with the amount of visitors that have the Alexa tool bar which is basically none.
Alexa is very accurate. If you suddenly receive a lot of traffic or a down in traffic, you can look at Alexa and it will show it. If im wrong, please point some site and the Alexa's rank for those site
Varies on the site. Theres no way to answer this question. Im sure some sites with 50,000+ uniques a day don't get an alexa rating of under 100,000. But then again sites with 500 uniques a day can. So like I said, impossible question to answer.
300 webmaster visits in a day was enough to get my daily rank below 100k. Do it regularly and your average will follow.
Can anyone that claims with 300 to 1,000 UV per day gets on Alexa's top 100k point us to their uls to see Alexa's ranking please?
It depends on what your site is about. Alexa ranking is based on data collected by tracking activities of surfers who have Alexa toolbar installed. Most people who have it are internet old timers as well as webmasters. So if your site is a blog with tips for webmasters, 1500 uniques a day will do it. If your site is a celebrity site which appeals to teenagers, you'll need at least 6000 or more.
HI I am at 73000 alexa rank... and it gets around 1400+ visitors per day... but it is a webmaster related site. Tom
I don’t think anybody can give an accurate answer to that question. In fact their algo keeps on changing and this makes it even more difficult to find out.
