I bought keyword discovery for 97.00 a few years ago and used it up to version 5.08. They sold it as unlimted use and free future upgrades for life. When they released the so called New Pro upgrade, we could only use it if we paid $49.00 per month, if not we are extreamely limited on its use. All of the previous K.D. versions were disabled from their servers, and they dont perform any searches. The Keyword Discovery or Trellion Support does not answer questions, all support pages for those previous upgrades are gone, none of my questions have been answered in regards to the disabeling on the early versions of Keyword Discovery. It seems their intent is to force the early customer base to pay up of shut up.

If you wanna work with an operation that throws long time users under the bus
then go ahead. $49.00 is waaay overpriced for Keyword Discovery or Keyword Analyzer. The former users should be able to use the previous versions. Im very upset with them.

I will check it out. I just simply believe these keyword tools don't warrant a monthly charge.

So far Ive been using google's new keyword tool. They should really cut loose and expand it so that it will return hundreds of searches at once. Lets see em put sites like sneeky Keyword Discovery out of Business.

Don't bother with those paid software like keyword elite. There are so many free ones out there that do the same thing, and even better, google, seobook.com, pagerank.net ..

I agree. Some of these "tools" give varying information, and I'd rather not have a monthly charge for one that might have bugs.

Most definitly. A keyword tool is a great tool to have, but its wayyy to overated for its own good. Google is going to prove that soon..They provide a new free keyword service that is obviously going to expand.

All of the other paks rely on Googles data base anyway. That was the lst thing K.D. disabled from their customers - (the Google Database)- just to get us to opt in for the monthtly fee.

I dont mind paying a one time cost - a resonable cost- but let someone else pay monthly for those.
