By this i mean, direct, search engines, referral, other? If you want to go into detail please do such as whether you get most of your traffic from stumble upon or digital point or search engines for keywords such as....

My main traffic at the moment probably comes from search engines, hopefully this will grow daily too.

    Whats yours?

Direct traffic, then StumbleUpon, then search engines.

    Search engines.

Depending on the site one will send more than the other, its not always google either.

But for most of my sites it is.

I dont bother with social networking, stumble upon etc etc as the traffic leads to nothing for many sites in many cases.

I always hear content etc, traffic etc.

But... poor content is a disappointment for the visitor, and traffic that leads to nothing is just a waste of bandwidth.

Plus i believe that search engine traffic will often stay quite steady in many cases where as other forms of traffic can just bring spikes.

Wow seems a lot of people are getting search engine traffic as their number one source...it seems people are starting to realise what SEO can do, or just getting lucky.

That is, IF they are telling the truth. There are a lot of weird-ass people who go to boards.

You also have to keep in mind that getting minuscule traffic that also doesn't convert, A.K.A search engine traffic, means nothing. It is not impressive. And when they say stuff like "I get 67% of traffic from search engines" is not impressive if they get, maybe, 100, if that daily hits to begin with.

I get around 73% from search engines with referring websites coming in second and direct coming in at only 8%
