So in the end - everything in life, from consumption to influence, is what drives people to 'react' when you perform an 'act'. These days the most non-obtrusive act can be considered marketing on some level, and other 'actions' are sooooo influencial, and speerheaded... no lazered in on to exploit weakness and influence consumption, that it is definitely hard to define the line of morals/ethics. Porn is obviously on the shadier side of the tracks, but in all honesty - let's look at teh moniez makersez most push: Loans Credit fix Pills << Any kind water4whatever ebooks Porn Gambling Now let's look at most networks weaknesses Grey T&C Pro network not pro aff or pro merch No loss all win - against all parties in all scenarios (you'd never get away with what you get away with at CB with other networks as an aff or pub). Interrogations on your traffic/sales/leads - no warning bans Getting your leads scrubbed Skimming/Shaving ClickFarms Insiders Now let's look at customers: Anxious Need problem x fixed Need it now Hey there it is - let's buy it because it looks great and there's positive reviews everywhere! (ummm no - we generated the influence to imagine the extreme result of not treating a problem, influenced the use of solution Y, and offered them more influenced planted reviews, 'small little ads', banners, etc. oh yeh and somewhere in there - made money). Now let's look at all the sectors/markets that have resellers/affiliates/franchises and make money from 1001 ways of non intrusive influencial marketing. Agriculture R&D FastFood Drugs << All kinds Digital Entertainment Literature TV Networks Everyone is always monetizing you on some level in your every day lives, probably 80% of your transactions if not more, are based on commission at some level to various people. In this industry, it's still wise to hold onto your morals and ethics to at least some degree - however be prepared to see people to the absolute worst. Be prepared to eventually see that some of these merchants, let's say pill X, are specifically designed to 'fineprint' recurrs to blind old ladies, to refuse refunds, to oversell a miracle 'make you 20 again' solution, and they will only get sneakier on how they pitch. Have you ever seen those commercials where it's some random young man/lady on a horse in slowmotion, and the narrator is reading off nothing but side-effects, and those side-effects are a mile long totally outweighing any 'solution' to 'why you wake up tired' or 'yawn sometimes'... All one can do is learn from the pool of what you see, and create a harmonized balance of what you will and won't promote. Seeing what others do and how they do, is an eye opener sometimes, however I feel that no matter what level of the word 'marketing' you are at - you are going to hell for influencing others - me included. I've seen this debate quite a few times now and it's not finding that perfect thing to sell, it's about defining your goals along with your moral limits and just gunning forward. Holy crap I rambled - peace. N.
A super affiliate is someone who can afford a week of vacation in one of the resorts in Bahamas. Then after the vacation, he would book a flight to Dubai for a weekend shopping.
OK, maybe i exaggerated a little, but it wasn't me, it was the alcohol Obviously people who attacked me about my ethics and my susses, has never made and serious money online and they never will if they don't change their opinion. Is loans or credit cards a good niche to work with and help people? This leads more than 15% of the people who will get the loan, to a bankruptcy. So am i helping them or no? Acai berry in pills? Everything in pills is not good, because of all the stuff they mix to make the pill. The real effect of the berries is if they are consumed in the original organic.....whatever. What to promote? How to help people when everything have positive and negative sides? How many marriages are saved because of porn? Do you have any statistics about this? If you and your spouse don't like porn,OK, but there are couples that enjoys watching this. @frugalwench-How are you the good guy here? Can you control the ads that are served by Google on your website? You are promoting scams about Green Card Lottery System in my Country and the worst part is that you don't even know this. At least i know what I'm promoting.
I would think thay Corey Rudl's definition of a super affiliate still holds true.... They usually have: • A website ª A decent amount of traffic • An opt-in e-mail list • A regular newsletter or e-zine with a fairly large subscriber base • A well defined target market – one that wants what we have to offer • An understanding of internet marketing • Are perceived as an “expert†and/or have a strong personal relationship with their customers and subscribers.
I think that the term "super affiliate" is different for different people. It varies by what your personal income goals are, and your geographic region, because $1,000 in a developing country can buy more than $10,000 in the United States, especially in New York City or somewhere like that. Personally, I have made a few thousand dollars online, usually around $1,000 a month, but I just promote 3-4 different products and I do not consider myself anywhere close to a "super affiliate." for me personally, a super affiliate is someone who is very good at promoting a variety of offers in a variety of manners, and makes more money than most of the population in the "real world." Personally I would love to make $10,000 per month affiliate marketing, and hope to achieve this in the next 2 years. However, I still probably would not consider myself a super affiliate. I think my definition of "super affiliate" would be someone who earns around $500,000 USD per year online.
Uh... maybe it's time for a redundancy check, here: We all know what affiliate means, and we all know what super means, right? So, let's just try to put those two words together: Affiliate = someone who earns by directly generating business for someone else Super = something that vividly stands out from the norm in a positive way Super Affiliate = someone who consistently stands out, in quite vivid and undisputable fashion (both in terms of reasoning and results) from everyone else promoting the same product / service? I think that most of the people who fail in promoting anything tend to fail because they're focused on getting results, rather than generating value. Once you generate value, success will follow naturally! At least that's what I've read, and it makes good sense to me.
Super affiliates tend to keep to themselves and not post on DP saying "Hey Im a Super Affiliate", unless they are a "GURU" in which case they will try to sell u a success ebook of some kind. It happens sometimes that a super affiliate has a larger ego then a business sense and goes public but thats rare. If super affiliates is your thing then the right question (or thread) would be "who in DP is a member of CB Apex" some of you probably do not have a clue what it is, but it exists. (No i am not a member of CB Apex at this time)
