Should I upgrade to Business account

    Hello,

I have Verified PayPal and I have online store. I sell plenty of items each month.
I am wondering, if I should upgrade to business account.

I have few questions which need a reply from person who has business account and can give me good reply.

1.) Are fees any bigger if having business and not premier account?
2.) Are there any special fees?
3.) Are there any credit card limitations with transactions from/on card?
4.) Why should I actually upgrade (only to have company name in logo)?

    Thanks in advance,

    Jan

yes you can downgrade your account within 1 working day.... and downgrading is totally free... but business accounts have lots of aditional features and so once you switch to business account you wouldn't want to go back to premier or personal....

If you are selling anything, you need at least a Premier or Business Paypal account. If you have a registered business or incorporated company, you can sign up for a Business account and if you do not then get a Premier account. There is no fees difference between this two accounts.

You do know that you are not supposed to be accepting money from sales if you are using a personal account. That is primarily an account for you to spend and not to receive money.

Business account requires business/company name.. so think of that.

You have to take care of your own VAT. Paypal does not collect on your behalf. Check with your tax department on the necessary documentation.

True but if you are not an incorporated company or a registered business then a business account is not opened to you.

The fee's between a business account and a premier account are pretty much the same. I would personally use the business account because I think it allows a user to register the account under the company name. Also, a business account provides more shopping cart features for your company I believe. I would upgrade because I don't think there's anything to lose but just a lot to gain :).

The only way to downgrade is to write to paypal.

Where was there ever a fee for sending money or spending money on paypal ? You only get charged for receiving money.
