Paypal Limited.. Need some Help :(

Okay, so my Paypal accounts got limited because I didn't read the fine print or do some research to find out your not allowed more than one account. So a couple weeks ago I sold a website for $750 which accidentally went to an old account of mine. So once I realized this I sent it to my good account and as soon as I did this BAM limited!

I did all the steps to remove limitation only to find that the appeal is denied :(

I called Paypal and the only thing the lady on the phone would say as to the reason why was because of the sending funds between accounts (which apparently I have a long track record of from year ago :S)

I reaaaaally want my Paypal account back. I haven't done anything illegal. All my uses for it are within the AUP but they just dont get it!

Has anyone had a similar situation and got there account back?

    Please Help

    Regards,
    Koodous

Paypal can actually help a lot if you are nice. I live in ireland and their support in Ireland has been great for me. Explain what happened and show proof identity should work

just go and sue them. There are pretty stupid guys out there not willing to help a person who's hard earned money is in trouble.

If they've denied your appeal and you know the reason why, which appears to be a legitimate reason from their side, then there's nothing that you can do. That's what happens when you break the rules.

There's only so much help they can do if there isn't a way to re-establish an account.

Useless answer. People's "hard earned" money wouldn't be in trouble if they wouldn't do things that could jeopardize it.

they locked up over 5,000 on mine i never honest to god did anything illegal. the reason was they did a credit report and my credit was bad and they said it was suspicious. they dnt care. they dont have to follow regular bank regulations so basically they will take whatever you got, whenever they want.

The first thing to do is the check the Resolution Center. If you are unable to get anywhere from there you can always call PayPal.

Yes. You may have one personal and one premier or business account.

It's not even the fact that they have locked up my funds that is really ticking me off, but the fact that I can't use PayPal in the future for my business uses, which will really hurt my income.

When I called I was incredibly nice to the lady on the phone but she just acted like she didn't care.

Is it worth trying to call back again in hope of getting somebody reasonable?

I feel so stupid for making such a minor mistake and if I would have known this and read the fine print I would have never had this problem.

Well at the end of it all, you've caused your own fate for ignoring what's allowed and what isn't. PayPal not allowing you to use the service in the future is due to your own mistake. Calling them again will not help and will only be wasting time for you and the CSR.

Although I do take full responsibility, Ignoring and not knowing are 2 different things. I just wish they would have made it more clear that you were not allowed more than one account and would have at least informed me when I opened my second account.

I submitted all the documents and requirements they wanted but still got perm limited.

Have they "frozen" your money? So you cant send it to your other account, or to a friend? Do you have 2 business, or premier accounts? If you have 2 personal accounts, maybe you could upgrade 1 to business, then you are within TOS. You are allowed 1 personal and one premier or business. I'm not sure if it's possible to downgrade one if both are business/premier. I myself would try another phone call and hopefully someone can help you straighten it out. Good luck with it.

I have three accounts, two personal and one business--but I'm only using one since the other two are not verified. Will my account be limited?

Well, according to PayPal, you are only allowed 1 personal and 1 business/premier account. So I would cancel one, or just be sure not to verify the 1 personal. Just keep 1 personal and 1 business.
