anyone with some muscle in india?

I just got scammed by a local company. Need some muscle to jump in and... persuade them to refund the payments.

Will be paying $$$.

The thread bump may be a problem with the rules. I don't think there is a rule aganist your initial post. I suspect the worst you will get is an infraction and you have to have several before your account is cancelled.

 

Didn't mean to bump it actually... Just to apologize in case i broke any rules. I realize this is a bit uncommon. The post i mean, not people getting scammed by companies in india.

I know it's bad to snoop, but what did these/this person do? that your willing to pay high money for refund?

 

they scammed me for nearly $10k, got paid to develop sites and delivered crap. then started asking for more money and eventually disappeared. i'm willing to pay any amount to recover at least a part of my money, eventually souvenirs.

 

Do not trust the Indian companies some appear and vanish in days. Just handover the company name and how they conned you to the Indian media and they will ensure you get refunds faster

 

I really doubt that would work, same for the legal method.

 

Better yet, a gun AND muscles.

 

How about kidnapping family members or blackmail? Hire gang members?

 

Oh.. the potential here.

An international "Rent a Thug" site like Elance where freelance goons can bid on rough work. Brilliant!

Young thugs could start off by bidding on simple jobs like letting the air out of someone's tires or filling their letterbox with dog doo.

There could be a forum, ebooks for sale and a shopping cart for the purchase of blackjacks, ski masks and other tools of the trade.

Truly this would be "globalization" at it's finest

not really. paid in milestones, they did some mockups, and now apparently they can't finish it, and play dead.
