Interesting question on this forum for a change. It's hard to define the actual term due to the various levels and sublevels to simply 'making money online'. A publisher can still be an affiliate/top level partner/jv partner/etc. An affiliate doesn't always fall into just one or two formulas. My version of a super affiliate is someone that can monetize a good offer exponentially within many sectors. They understand marketing, plain and simple, and they get results. Don't get it twisted, there are a lot of variables that get taken into consideration with AM'ing. You can't go thinking that a S.A. can sell literally anything anywhere to anyone, sometimes offers are simply bad, old, don't convert no matter who pushes them. S.A.'s know how to mine markets, know what to STAY AWAY from, know how to analyze risk, choose high paying products/leads/networks, and outperform most of their competition. There is no money amount or quickness of your first sales that make you a super affiliate. There is no post count or text book meaning, and it's silly to have one imo. 90% of our worlds goods/services are brought to you through resellers, including big name dept. stores and malls and flea markets - so perhaps since mcdonalds is franchised to resell their brand, any mcD owner is the ultimate S.A. In our industry I think the point where you can call yourself a super affiliate (for your own credibility not a forums or a communities), is when you can forget your day job, and make a living online. Also=being a super affiliate and making money are two different things. You can do a LOT more online than simply resell others goods to make money - a super affiliate is probably also a jv partner, a list owner, a publisher, an offline marketer, a word of mouth marketer, a messenger and a go-getter business pro. N.
Making a living is like 3 -5k per month max. And that is only required to leave a day job. There are many people who do that much continuing their day job. I think maintaining a revenue of 1k per day persistently for more than 3 months can be a super affiliate. Nothing hard and fast though. I would give more importance to persistency rather than making 10k a week and then 0.
Super Affiliate: Someone who stays at home in front of their computer on a friday night working, researching or managing their current and future affiliate promos ( and occassionally chatting on digitalpoint, or nichechoppers )
I think being a publisher is actually the next level. But, only if you have mastered promoting other people's products already. Once you find the ability to imitate already exisiting products, discover new niches & promote those products; you'll dominate the internet. My Personal Definition of a Super Affiliate Seeing consistent streams of profit income in your bank account and not being surprised by it. Yep, if you make $1000 a month and know exactly how you did it and why it works - you're a super affiliate in my book. On the flip side - if you make 10000$ in one month and had no idea how you did it; you're just an internet lottery winner to me YA DIG!?
Yeah, I imagine most super affiliates aren't driving a sports car to the airport to fly a private plane to paris for dinner with three stripper girlfriends...
According to this, I'm "Super Affiliate", so it must be wrong because i don't even feel like "S Affiliate" There is only affiliates. The "Super Affiliates" are promoted by the networks they work for or self-promoted. It's just the name they give you so you don't feel lame like the rest of the crowd Generating $10k in commissions is not that hard, the profit is one that counts.
I'm VERY "white hat", and I consider a Super Affiliate one who can make over $100,000 a year without exploiting people's weaknesses (like gambling, porn), selling "How To Get Rich" crap, or writing misleading ads that exploit people's self-esteem issues (like the 1 page "You just gotten have this to have a great life" crap). If you can make good money actually selling something of worth while truly making someone's life better, and not leaving them feeling scammed, THAT makes you super in my eyes.
I would have to say that to sustain any long term income from Affiliate Marketing, it would be a good idea to stay away form the real scummy products.
LoooooLLL, It's like telling a Toyota seller, why you don't sell a Mercedes, You will look SUPER in my eyes. I'm tired of this kind of posts(or maybe too drunk) WTF is wrong with porn? I never understood this kind of people(call me a racist, i don't care) It's porn and everybody like it.Giving people what they like, that's what everything is about. Have you ever been in porn niche? Can you even imagine all the benefits that you can get from this? Have you ever meet any porn stars? PORN IS WORTH SELLING. You make both sides happy. Exploiting peoples weakness?? WTF is that?
Yes, you are obviously drunk. I was asked for my opinion, and I gave it. Simple as that. I don't know what you mean by being a racist, but NOT everybody likes porn. And giving people what they like is not necessarily a good thing. I guess you think that giving junkies heroin is a good thing too, or selling teenagers prescription painkillers like Vicodyn without a prescription is o.k., because they want it? Online porn addiction has broken up homes, families, and put people into bankruptcy. That's what I mean by taking advantage of people's weaknesses. You don't make your money online with porn from the one time viewers. You make your big money with the addicts. If that's o.k. with you, do it, but just like promoting gambling, it's taking advantage of people's weaknesses and addictions for profit, and I will never approve of that. Go ahead, ask me what I know about addiction ruining families. It left my son without a father when he was 10 months old. If nobody had been willing to give him "what he wanted", since he had no money to buy it, he would still be alive. THAT'S WTF I meant. Stick it where your porn queens put their beads.
Truer words were never spoken. In the end, it's not how much money you make, but how many lives you touch positively that matters.
It's true, people like porn. If you use proper methods to promote your porn affiliate link, and as long as the affiliate network manages to verify if the user is 18 or over, i don't see nothing wrong with that. Porn is not bad, although it might influence some people in a negative manner, it can also be positive. You can learn a lot from it Frugalwrench exaggerated with his claims a bit. Porn can broke up families are you serious ? It all depends on whether the user abuses it to that extent. It's not the porn, it's the viewer. Same can be said about sports, let's say baseball, there are many cases in which avid baseball fans have had their families fall apart because of their dedication to the sport. So should we ban baseball. Also, let's ban food. If you eat too much, you develop obesity, which brings a lot of complications in life, both mentally and physicically. Should we ban food? No! It all depends on the individual, whether he overdoes it(overeats, watches too much porn). If it has no direct harm for the physical and mental health of the individual, and brings some kind of satisfaction to him, than it is okay. There is nothing wrong with porn.
