I found this definition for Super Affiliate on Wikipedia in the Affiliate Marketing article. "This risky approach is one of the reasons why most affiliates fail or give up before they become successful "super affiliates", capable of generating US$10,000 or more per month in commission." Is this the accepted definition of a "Super Affiliate"?
for me a super affiliate is just someone able to gather at least 20-30 sales per week on a regular basis.
Yeah, I wonder what the drop out rate for Affiliate Marketing is. It has to be astronomical, lot's of people dabble, few ever make a profit. Any other definitions out there?
probably more than ever because of all the affiliate marketing for dummies book out of here...gives the taste to a lot of people but probably very few can handle it.
I don't think there is a standard definition of what makes someone a super affiliate. Generally they are the top 10%. I know a couple, one is Jeremy Palmer and he has an excellent free course on affiliate marketing. www.quityourdayjob.com. He makes over $1 million a year as an affiliate - and works A LOT (he's not sitting around doing nothing, he's always kept up with the industry and improving his marketing). If you go to Affiliate Summit there will be many super affiliates - some will be presenters but many attend also. Janet
"Super Affiliate", "Expert Affiliate", why would you care about all that sh!t? Promote or sell products until you are satisfied with your income.
You really are a moron, id bet my house you dont make any money affiliate marketing you simply post these spammy posts hoping someone newbee will pm you and ask you how you do it, then sell them some of your made up crap.
I think the 80/20 rule applies to affiliate marketing. 20 percent of the people are making 80 percent of the money. And CBbox is one of the 20 percent of the marketers making 80 percent of the bullshit.
I'd actually consider a super affiliate one who can make sales with all types of offers, networks using many methods. Not the $$$ they generate or how rich they are.
So you take the Super to mean ability, not just results. I like that idea, since if you are a Super Affiliate for one product using one method, and your product or method get banned, then you are toast. Very good thought mikey.
If someone can pump $1000 a day out of one niche, or a variety of offers/products it doesn't matter to me, I still consider them a super affiliate because you have to know what the fuck your doing to be making that kind of dough. I cant remember the last time I seen someone post their first $1000 day here or any other forum that is not a publisher....
I think I am starting to realize that affiliate marketing, although I have finally got it mostly figured out, isn't going to be able to make me as much money as I want to make. I have some ideas for products...
Dude - don't take this the wrong way - cuz i think your a cool dude and you have good posts - but i have to disagree with you on this one - affiliate marketing can make you endless amounts of money, i have a couple friends who own at it, one doing over 50k a month and another well over 100k - its hard to find a job let alone anything else than can make u the kinda cash affiliate marketing can So, remember, you do'nt have it totally figured out yet, no one ever really does - as we are always learning no matter how much we make
You are right, I could make a mint in affiliate marketing if I really knew what I was doing. I guess I am just comparing my experience with Adsense and Adwords to Clickbank. When I first started IM, I made a bunch of crappy little sites with Adsense all over them, and wrote articles to drive traffic. I didn't make crap. Then I realized, the people who are making money are the ones who use Adwords to advertise on my crappy sites, because they sell something! Then I discovered Affiliate Marketing and now I make real money, but now I wonder if being a Publisher is the next level, or just a different angle.
