I received an email notifying me that I recieved a new payment. The payment was in the price of £1 and I wasn't sure who would have sent it. I logged into paypal to make sure it wasn't some sort of scam, and sure enough, I have £1 unclaimed payment. The subject of the transaction is "you've got funds" and it is an instant payment.

I say claim it. It's only $2 and this person obviously wanted you to have it.

The account is a verified account and the address is also confirmed. I don't know who would have sent it as I only give out my paypal id through PM or email, I never openly post it anywhere. I tracked down the email I recieved payment from to this website: http://www.biz-runner.com/business/total-financial-services.asp. I received payment from the email address there, and the address given is the one confirmed by paypal.

Even i think you might be lucky in this case. Is your paypal id very common ??

like something or something like that?? Because then he might have confused the email id with someone else's.
So be prepared to get rich because this UNKNOWN FRIEND of yours will be sending loads later. :D Maybe...
