What Email software do you use?

Anyone using email software, like outlook, firebird etc to check/manage your email, or do you just connect through web interface to gmail, yahoo?

I use Gmail. I don't have any active pop email addresses so there is no need for a client.

 

Well, you can use Gmail with POP client as well

 

I use Yahoo and Gmail. Never had any problems with them at all.

 

Yeah I know but the gmail interface is so much better, and easier than most clients.

I never use external software like outlook or thunderbird, things like that. Usually the internal mail program that comes with the email provider alone should be sufficient to fulfill all the basic needs

I manage all my email through a bunch of yahoo and gmail accounts and I really hate it. i think it's time to use some secure email clients.


What could be the downsides of using an external client and what's the best commercial pop3 software?

 

Thunderbird at home and Outlook at work. Both are good.

Gmail. I know it's a stupid move to let them keep trace of my emails, but what the heck.

 

Nope I dont use any email softwares as of now .. I simply go to the site from my browser and open my email
