tkx mate any suggestion in how to improve or promote amazon products??? I never done affiliate marketing b4.
Graphically (poor quality graphics) and visually it looks very poor. But as far as usability and layout goes, it's nice. I suggest getting a designer to give you a bit of a boost. Sorry for the blatant self promotion: I am a designer, let me know if you want some help with the design.
Like the others have said, low graphics quality. It also looks a little cluttered, but probably someone looking for information on the lemonade diet (who is not very web-savvy) would click on your ads. I have one question: are you allowed to put images that have "sponsored links" written on/under them next to the Google ads? This is something I haven't seen before!
what do you think is cluttered??? I think everything is organised in the categories... and about the ads nest to image if you take a look on the image it says sponsored google link and also a spoonsored link text over the actual ad and the ad is sorounded with a border adsense TOS says misleding images are no alowed The image is not misleding as it is labeled as sponsored
I was asking about the image next to the ad because I haven't seen this before (using an image that has "sponsored links" written on it), but I think it's a nice creative idea that's not against the TOS. I'm just curious if you get a better CTR than if you were just using the ad without the image next to it. When I said cluttered, I meant there was too much stuff going on. For example, I don't see the need for a "photo gallery" - especially since people won't even realize that the "Photo Gallery" button is a hyperlink (the cursor doesn't change when you move your mouse over it). If you can't find any higher resolution images to use in your layout, try to make at least the navigational buttons look better. Right now they look pixelated and amateurish.
If you can't take the heat, then why post for review ? The fact is, you could do better with the design. Green background is not the way to go, and you need more professional images, and your navigation bar looks pretty bad. I think everyone was being nice...your images look horrible and I have no idea why you would even need an image gallery. Your Amazon widget is all washed out because of your choice in colors, and if you intend on making any money with those, then you need to put up related products, that cost more than $3. (amazon only pays 10%) Also, it is obvious that your sole purpose here is adsense. That's fine, but it is also obvious to any visitors since that is the most prevalent aspect of the site. They are hip to that now, the key is to make it a little more subtle, yet place it properly. ( I hate adsense so enough about that) If you are serious, you need to offer more. If you are only looking for one time visitors to click on the ads, then you have successfully completed your mission, because anyone who stumbles on your site, the way it looks now, will surely click something in order to find the information that they are looking for... presented a little more professionally. Critiques are not personal, they are helpful. I love them because all of my sites look good to me, but it takes an outside eye to point out things that others will notice and mistakes that I didn't know that I made. Use reviews to get better, not to get offended. Yet take them all with a grain of salt based on the source. I would not offer so much if I didn't have a weight loss site of my own that makes sales, and I still have a long way to go with it. So do you.
Menu text contrast is not high enough so it makes it tough to read. Good layout. Feels cluttered though.
