hello guys I have a matrimonial related website and i want to submit it in to different directories. I want to know the category(s) where i should submit this matrimonial related website it to get maximum gains.....
well i dont thik it fits shopping.....and about wedding most of the directories dont have this category.IMO

If you use the 'search by general topics' form at Linksadmin.net you will find a good few directories where submit wedding related websites: http://www.linksadmin.net/directories/directories-wedding.html You can also try with other searches about any general topic.
If you seem to know it all then why are you asking? Any decent directory would need to see the site and review it to determine its relevancy. Your "MATRIMONIAL" site could be a blog - could be for wedding dresses - could be for gifts - could be for any number of things including strippers for the bachelor party - could be filled with spam and unacceptable. If you don't want the answer don't ask the question.
The best thing to do is to use the search box and enter "marriage" or "wedding", and see what comes up. Directories with good scripts will tell you what category each entry is in, and this will give you an insight into the way the editors are categorising various websites. Obviously you have to apply common sense as well: I have various wedding-related services listed in Business > Transport (for wedding cars) and Business > Entertainment and Arts > Photography, but a general-purpose wedding site wouldn't fit. Think of it this way, weddings are a form of entertainment, a great big celebration, but on the other hand they're also a huge industry. So Swedal is right, without seeing the site it's impossible to tell what slant you put on it.
