    Hi,
I am running a directory and the link is in my signature.
I have been getting very low traffic, around 25 unique visitors a day.
Suddenly, since last two days, I'm getting over 200 unique visitors a day and MOST of them are from sites which I have never been to. I'm giving some example referring URLs below:

    ad.adserverplus.com/st?ad_type=iframe&ad_size=728x90,468x60&section=289229
    ad.adnetinteractive.com/st?ad_type=iframe&ad_size=160x600&section=361287
    ads.entailmedia.com/banners/index.php?cid=usqs728x90_0808
    ad.yieldmanager.com/st?ad_type=iframe&ad_size=728x90&entity=74598&site_code=realtechnetwork&section_code=200001
    ad.scanmedios.com/st?ad_type=iframe&ad_size=728x90&section=281769
    ad.harrenmedianetwork.com/st?ad_type=iframe&ad_size=728x90&section=334070
    ad.reduxmedia.com/st?ad_type=iframe&ad_size=160x600&section=302321&pop_nofreqcap=1

    Specially this one : mm.chitika.net/minimall?w=728&h=90&client=srchmarket&noctxt=1&sid=22&url=http%3A//www.beeresult.com/banner1.php%3Faffid%3D22%26country%3D&type=mpu&ref=http%3A//www.beeresult.com/banner1.php%3Faffid%3D22%26country%3Dus&cb=74

And other links just like above. All of them have something in common, most of them have that iframe thing.

All those referring URLs have different IP addresses.

Can someone give me some information about these links?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,
    Andy.

    Hi buldozerceto,
    Thanks for the reply.

But what is the purpose? Is someone making hacking attempts? There has to be some purpose of doing that ...

    Regards,
    Andy.

    Yeah,
I think I have figured out whats going on. I am a Platinum advertiser at ClixGalore and all those hits are coming from sites where my banners are displayed. But what confuses me is that its not real humans who are visiting my site, its the bots giving me unique hits. All visits are 0 seconds and not single click is actually going from one page to other. The hits are coming to my home page and no signups, zero conversion.
So, I don't know whether I should consider this good or should I consider it bad since my funnel system is going reckless with a 0% conversion rate from those hits. I guess, I will let this happen for a few days and will see if I really get some signups or conversion, otherwise I will simply contact those publishers and request them to remove banners or may be simply goto clixgalore and remove those advertisers from my program ..
    Regards,
    Andy.

It's probably from someone generating fake clicks on their site to yours. The advertiser will count them as fake clicks so don't worry, your funds won't go down because of it.
