I was just reading about banned sites and that if the PR is greyed out on your site that it means you are most likely banned. Can anyone confirm forsure that Surgender dot com is banned or not and why if it is? thanks!

cool, thanks! I can breath easier once again. There no reason for it to be banned, so just made me wonder.

Um, What is your url? Surgender or Surgeender? About the PR toolbar, that's not true that your banned if it is greyed. It only means 2 things: 1.) your site is new, 2.) you didn't promote your website. To know whether you are banned try to search your url in google and if you found your website listed in google's serps then congrats your not banned.:cool:

I have both, and actually thats another reason why i asked. Surgeender is listed but for some reason i don't see surgender anywhere, I have done a small bit of article writing for both. I wonder why one is listed but not the other?

Basically, as the others said, new domains always start out like that.
Once u build backlinks, the next PR update it goes

The first one that Google finds is likely to be the one that will show up in the serps, as they both seem to have identical layouts and content, and Google will treat the second one as duplicate.
Your best bet would be to have one site up.. and redirect the unused domain to the one you would rather have show up in the serps.

    Cheers

if your site is new it is likely that this is the explanation not because you have been banned.

Your domain was created on Jan 2008 and now google not index your site.
Did you ever check your site was index by google during Jan 2008 until now?
    - If never index during that period then OK, just promote it.
    - If yes and now is de-indexed, then your site was banned.

    Any other opinion?
