When I try to see how many pages I got indexed in google.

I get 41 pages indexed when I do:

    site:domain.com

and 0 results when i do

    site:http://www.domain.com

    any information?

Did you setup the "preferred domain" within Google Webmaster Tools?

Do some seo work and add website map to google webmaster tool . This will help you to get indexed easily . This happens with me to when i search for domain name i get so any back links and when i search for something in my domain name i get few results but now they are increasing slowly .

As stated above, go to your free Google Webmaster Tools account. Click on Tools > Set Preferred Domain and select your choice, with or without the www.

I have my preferred domain set with the www, and my site: searches show the exact same number of pages with or without the www. I think that if you select your preferred domain in GWTools, your problem will be cured. Best wishes.

Ditto... I personally think this has nothing to do with SEO. I also have mine set to use the www prefix. Looks better in the URL bar.

OHH... You should probably do a .HTACCESS Re-direct for domain.com to www.domain.com or vice versa... all depends if you know how to do a 301 re-direct or not.

Sitemap will do... And if you want to make domain.com into www.domain.com create an .htaccess file. :D
