agree with the majority! cant rely on simply one source! i would suggest to work on couple of additional ones as well! although i didnt get huge checks from google to even think abt relying ;)

I can but I don't make it . You ask why ? Because I don't now if they will suspend my account in any time, so I try to make money in different sources , one of them is adsense by %20 .

You won't get banned for NO reason. If you follow the rules you won't get banned.

Yea, unfortunately AdSense is about 70% of my income. I'm hard at work to increase my income from other sources, but I'm still not too worried. Years back About.com used to be 70% of my income. One advertiser will falter & another will take over. I've always managed :)

Good point. Most people should be able to easily make it up by changing to something else. There are always those gems though you NEVER want to lose. The only time adsense is a gem is when there is no good affiliate programs for that niche or its not a product orientated niche (like funny sites).

If you make your whole living off adsense then you're living on borrowed time. The whole 'don't put all your eggs in the one basket' thing comes to mind.

yea adsense is a very cool revenue source but you really shouldnt rely solely on them first time i was making $1800 and they canceled my account so i decided not to put all my resources in one basket.

I've been with AdSense for years. It's a roller coaster ride. There are times when my AS revenues soar, and others when they go into the toilet. I can go along for months or a year with really good earnings coming from dozens of sites. Then, for no reason I can figure (I'm not smart priced), revenues get cut by as much as 2/3 with no corresponding reduction (or even increases) in traffic to the sites. Several months later, revenues will be jacked up again for no reason I can cite.

AdSense is extremely fickle, and should not be relied on, as mentioned here repeatedly. Remember, there is no transparency whatsoever. Trying to build a business where you have no clue about the rules or risks is not recommended.

If you make a living off adsense you will make a dying when they suspend you. Diversify.

Wow depending on adsense would be nutz, since they can ban you or even change the whole program at any time.
