Hi guys! I am thinking of the best commission structure for a Golf Reservation Affiliate Program. Rates are varied with the revenue to be earned from various golf and hotel partners. So I am on the fence whether to give a percentage on sale commission or a fixed amount for each transaction. Can anyone give a piece of his mind on this?
Go to offervault and affspy and check out what your competitors are doing. Thats what a good affiliate would have done. Then figure out how well does this offer convert. Whats the average sale size. Whats the lifetime value of a customer? Then whats the max a customer is worth to you? If its strong, then throw a high one time offer. If your sales are all over the board, then stick to a high commission. But they will want residual income. We pay a high payout for the 1st salve. Of up to 150% commission. This helps are partners do more with PPC and advertising online to drive qualified traffic. Swing away!
Thanks for the headstart! I have tried to search at offervault, affspy and Allaffiliatesprogram and am having good comparison. You gave some good insight into program development; and I will definitely look into high payout for the first sale. Swing away - definitely!
Hi Narsticle! I will contact you as soon as we have fine tuned the program. Do you have any suggestion on how you would like to be rewarded? I certainly need all the input -especially from experienced affiliates - at this time.
