Was 911 an inside job

Today some activists marched in NEW YORK. Ed Asner, Arrested Development are demanding answers.

I don't believe so..

Not that I don't think it could happen, nor because I think there isn't any evidence to the effect.

I simply can not even imagine anyone being that evil to murder his/her own citizens in such a manner.

 

I don't believe that George Bush has the mental faculty to order such an act, but some of the administrations reactions were outright strange when questioned if they had foreknowledge of impending attacks. They have left a lot of questions needing to be answered. For example, has anyone satisfactorally answered why their were seemingly explosions coming from the basement of the wtc towers?

I do like to read conspiracy theories. But this one is quite incredulous.
I think there are things that US government can do for their 9/11 heroes. But it would take a political will to draw funds to these heroes with all the distraction now going on in the US political scene.

It does sort of makes you think about the show "Heroes" on NBC and how the senior heroes wanted to bomb N.Y for the greater good.

Jokes apart, I don't think 9/11 was an inside job. It's good to be cynical and all that. But this so-called 'conspiracy theory' is too much.

 

Yeah, of course it was an inside job. Because of its size and diverse population America more than any other nation needs an external enemy. In the early days it was the British. After the War of Independence the American states stayed united because of fear that if they didn't the big bad British, lurking over the border in Canada, would exploit any differences and pick them off one by one. Once the USA was big enough to realise that Britain could never be a threat to it's territory ever again - it promptly tried to tear itself apart in civil war. The memory of that and the drive westwards was enough to keep the country united, and then in the 20th century there were the Germans (Imperial and Nazi), the Japanese and of course the Soviets.

The demise of the Soviet Union left America as the single, undisputed superpower. With no 'evil empire' threatening an external attack Americans began to look closer to home for their enemies. The Federal government in Washington began to be seen as a shadowy, secretive organisation, forever covering up instances of alien contact and working to destroy American liberties and freedoms. This view led to the rise of the militias, Timothy McVeigh and the Oklahoma bomb and the Waco seige.

With the knowledge that if they didn't do something future Americans may have looked back at Waco the way current Americans look back at Lexington the Government acted. Realising that America needed a new external enemy to keep the country united the relevant authorities plotted 9/11 with the same secretive thoroughness and care with which they'd covered up Roswell and given Elvis a new identity.

The rest of course we all know. 9/11 was a huge success and the United States got the new external enemy it needed. Everyone must be on their guard becuase if you're not then nasty Isalmic fundemantalists will come to your town and kill YOU!

I think it was an inside job. A few guys sitting in room claiming that they did it isn't a proof that al-CIAda did they. Heck, i think its a part of cia.
