MS has been busy, at least it shows that the security team has been working.

knowing my luck, I'll be the only one on the planet that had this issue...though there was one guy on the Mozilla forums that posted he had the same problem...only difference was his trouble started on Monday...does not fit the exact mold per my experience

13  we're still using Office 2002! the original XP release

yeah...I'm not nearly sold on the idea of Vistuh

3 is a lot better for memory though...NO LEAKS.

yeah yeah...Mr. Mac...all is right for you in the world

FF3? I bet there was just som crazy thing inherit to my system that made it wig out...though I have a fairly fresh install...windows should not be dorked up already....then again...

I had 11 updates on Vista. Atleast they fix security holes/bugs without waiting for some hacker to exploit the flaw on a million computers.

Vista is secure but so is XP. Out of the box Vista is ahead though.
Generally Microsoft releases updates in Wednesdays so all the updates for the week are patched in one day.

do you know when XPSP2 was released? There are 90 updates after that avaible, of course now with SP3, that number should be smaller.

After the last XP update round a month or so ago which broke my Firefox I didn't bother with this lot!

XP started off very quick loading, running etc. etc. but with all these updates it's definitely slowed it down for me.

interesting, so the last round last month put the smack down on your FF?

    I bet it's done on purpose :p

first Zonealarm users get abused and now FF!!
