Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of hacking or cracking and tools that aid in copyright infringement. For example, we do not permit: * Sites that provide instructions or equipment to illegally access or tamper with software, servers, or websites * Sites or products that enable illegal access of cell phones and other communications or content delivery systems/devices * Mod chips, such as devices that unlock copyright protection * Products that descramble cable and satellite signals in order to get free cable services * Copied or backed-up version of software, CDs, or DVDs not intended for personal use * Products or services that circumvent digital rights management technologies or technical protection measures for copyrighted works ------------------ I've just had a chat with Adwords representative, and she confirmed this. Bye bye my expected sales
Did you ever actually buy the product to see what it is? its nothing beside a couple links to free-channel sites....its banned not only for your bolded quote, but because its uprely a scam >.<
This has been banned for quite some time now.. I was making a few hundred a day from this too. oh well. Best stick with a product thats not going to get banned
I'm big on avoiding scammy products like this now - You can put a lot of energy into promoting stuff like this and then it all goes kaput. A great example are the iPod download sites which I did quite well with - now they have all been removed from CB. Just from a business perspective I like to work on things that I think have a long term return. Also it's kind of nice to not feel like you are ripping people off
I was looking at some rebrandable PC software today, downloaded logo, and it is really a big, big piece of crap. I couldn't open a single channel. I can't belive that there is anyone who doesn't ask for refund
Play nice with Google. It's the best way to drive quality leads to your site. If you use other PPC services, it may not be worth it. Go for products that don't violate the terms of service (TOS). And you will be fine in the long run.
Interesting how Google is regularly reviewing campaigns to keep stuff like out of Adwords....yet do they keep it out of the natural SERPs?
Things like this being advertised via Adwords would just open up more possible cases against Google where they wouldn't be able to win as they couldn't justify promoting products that are aimed at getting around copyright etc They still permit the sites to be listed in serps as their results are 'unfiltered' and beyond reasonable expectations to ban every single site referencing such material. However, with Adwords, they are held more responsible as they would be directly profiting from permitting such items to be advertised and therefore could face significant payouts for endorsing such products (they would effectively be endorsing the products if they permit them to be advertised).
