According to another couple of PR sites I've visited, Google changed something recently, hence the problems.

    seochat.com's Google related tools say:
I can't remember where else said that/similar though. One other returned a load of code instead of a number too.

In the last couple days checkpagerank.net seems getting trouble on their system. They can't show details unless Unknown Pagerank. This also happened to their sister, checkpageranking.com.
Digpagerank.com still have establish result I think. Alternatively, I use this tool: http://www.scriptidea.net/domain_appraisal/. They shown quite complete data about domain apraisal.

I agree checkpagerank.net is pretty ineffective, sometimes it gives me a forged PR report for a domain then 2 mins later a real PR..

DNSCOOP seems to be much better and my choice now.. just takes a little longer to pull results

http://www.domainpagerank.com/ - does pretty much the same as checkpagerank.net (checks whether the page rank is forged and offers the back link count from major search engines) but adds some extra information on top of that, which makes it more valuable. The down side is that it doesn't generate a separate URL after rendition of results - unlike checkpagerank.net - hence you can't link to the page with results directly.

yes its now working fine.but never trust only one tools.befor going to buy a PR domain search for the domain by 'info' command in google.this will help you tracking forged PR.

LOL dude, you're just spamming your site is all. At least admit it's your site and ask people to give it a try - I wouldn't mind that. But pretending it's a tool you use and it's given you good results, while three links in your sig point to the same domain is blatant spamming.

PS - you got no click from me :D

According to my CP, I got neg rep for saying "According to another couple of PR sites I've visited, Google changed something recently, hence the problems."

How do I get a "fuuck off kiddo" for posting that??? Grow up.

I have been using that site as well as a few others recently to back up the PR that my Google Toolbar says.

Personally I don't care about pagerank, but there are a lot of people out there who believe that pagerank is more important than anything else. (Which is why I have used it and advertised it on my threads.)

You try to look for or sell a domain in the BST domains section here and all you see is "WTS/WTB" PR domains clogging up the board. I think that sucks.

I've seen garbage domains that didn't even make sense, weren't premium domain and didn't even have a TLD extension sell for more than good domains that had a niche market, simply because they had pagerank.

Whatever happened to just selling domains?

If you ask me, DigitalPoint should create an entire new BST category titled PageRank Domains for sale with Subcategories title PR1, PR2, PR3, PR4, etc. ;)
Sure would make it easier to sell an actual domain.

Sorry, guess I went off on a tangent. I do that occasionally.

Anyway...I haven't had a problem with the wrong PR coming up for any of my domains. Everything seems to be solid on all of the pagerank checking sites...so far.
