I lost my password , Can I get my password from yahoo messenger

I lost my yahoo password
I dont remember security questions and answeres
I can check my emails because i have saved in messenger
Is there any way to get this password from my messenger.

when you registered your yahoo account then you have entered alternative email id.
you can add this alternative id in yahoo site then you get your password on this alternative id.

 

As far as I know, Yahoo messenger and Yahoo email paswords are just the same, or aren't they?
