In my point of view, it affects SERPs. When doing link building, people usually find authority sites and sites with high PR and post their links to gain backlinks to their respective sites.
Ya I have noticed that.. Before iam geting PR my SERP was not much better... But since last 26 july onwards My SERP improved... Cause I got PR for Home page and all of its Internal Page.. I think it has some value...
Yeah dat's 100% true, Find here what google says about PR and it's important. High PR = Higher SERP Rankings They have cleared out that high pr means increases chance to get better rank in SE... Though many we'basters understand PR is worthless...
I've seen some Top Ranking sites are coming in search engines without high Green Bar. but they've got good back links and that's why SERP is good. PR is important but PR wont send you quality traffic. Thanks Eric
Webmasters usually thought that PR is worthless because they don't understand how Google Ranking works.. Better learn SEO
Yes, for stable SERP, PR matters, Some non PR or low PR webpage sometimes get boost in SERP but it does not continue too long. If you want better SERP for long time, PR matters.
PR measures importance of the page... The higher PR the more important... If you got more high PR backlinks which are related to you means you can be trusted too... Then with regards to SERP, it's the quality of your content as well as site structure...
PR is not related to SERP. A back link from a single page having high PR can boost your PR too. but it doesn't guarantee good results for searched keywords, which is essentially what you must target for. having a website that gets you high on SERP for your target keywords is always more desirable.
If you ask google, then they will say yes, PR is a main factor in SERPs. But many webmasters think that PR has no or very little affect on SERPs.
+1 for agreeing to PR affect SERP. You get high PR from getting lots of backlinks and probably, with ttat, you can get high SERP results for your page.
