I also would vote adbrite. They accept almost all types of content, always pay on time, and have decent rates for their ads.

if you dont have enough traffic, then none of them will do well. unlike adsense, adbrite or bidvertiser will take lot of traffic to make you something

    Adbrite.

Bidvertise banned me and stole $700 that was in my account (due to invalid clicks).

    Peace,

Bidvertiser was good for me for around 2 monthes. but after that i noticed that the clicks decreased and no ads were showing so i contacted them and they replied that they don't have enough advertisers.
Their CPC rates range from 0.03$ to 3$ or something depending on your category

Build your traffic first and then place adverts

to tell you frankly.. trying Bidvertiser is just time waste :(
As said by the other members, first increase your traffic and use Adbrite.

Go with Adbrite. I have tried both and Adbrite paid better and they have CPM option. The only thing I liked about bidvertiser is that they paid through PayPal. They closed my account after a few months for 'invalid clicks' too. I lost $40 with them.

Go with adbrite. But why not adsense? Adsense is the best among all the advertising companies.

    Wondering why not adsense?
I will suggest adbrite compare to bidvertise since you can get both CPM and CPC ads from adbrite
However, suggest to focus on the blog improvement to get more traffic before think on putting ads

Why not use both? I think bidvertiser is great and adbrite is great. Try a combonation. I have been paid by both of them on time, every time. I do like the intertestial ads on adbrite, thats great for forums and such...
There is a list in my sig if your interested in a few others.
Good Luck and let us know what you choose...

Adbrite, by a long nose since they don't rip their publishers off.
