Which is the best way to mass emaill all your members?

I was wondering if anyone knows which is the best way to mass emaill more than 10,000 users through a VPS or a Dedicated server. Any script that does this work without any errors or missing emails?

were did you get the 10,000 emails from?

They are members of a site of mine who have agreed to receive newsletter on registration.

 

Do you send them e-mails pertaining to registration or any type of e-mail can be sent to them. Some people get them registered offering lucrative stuff and then later keep on sending them mails which rather keeps filling the in-box and minimizing the space.

 

The emails are being sent directly from the site. If they don't want to receive any more emails from us they just visit their members panel and choose that option. All the emails are about our site nothing more.

 

With 10000 members and anything just slightly serious in mind, I would move them to aweber or similar service asap. You want to make sure your emails are delivered.

 

I don't want any 3rd party site or tool to be involved in this. Hmm

 

You might want to consider phpList. It's free, although you will need to set it up.

Have you used sanblaster long - any comments thoughts ? Why is it better than using a web based autoresponder...

 

I could offer you my GPL newsletter software. It is pretty much designed to do exactly what you want to do.

 

If you're not looking to sign up with an ESP or use a dedicated IP for you email marketing campaigns, I would recommend purchasing and installing Interspire's send studio on your server. It has a great UI, and I've had excellent deliverability results with this software.

 

I'm using phpList, it's fantastic, I'm not sure about the number, my list is less than 10'000.

 

10,000 is a big email list so must be a pretty popular website. I have used aweber and constant contact in the past so they would be worth considering if you do decide to look into 3rd party tools.
