A very important question.

Please i would love to know when i would be have my website appearing on Google Page Rank - that is if i submit to Google. And how do i submit to Google. Please i need a urgenty reply

Dear imagine

Google Page rank is based on back links. Back links are Links pointing to your website from another website. The more back links you have the higher your PR will be.

1. Join forums,
2. Submit to search engine directories.
3. Use ezine ads (or newsletters).
4. Create and publish articles.
5. Try to Get Links from related websites.

This will help you in gaining backlinks and thus increasing your PR in Google.

Thanks Tehmina for the information. But the reason why i requested for advice is that i was informed by through a "purchased e-book" that to get ranked on the Google page, you have to submit to Google (i need to also know the procedure for submitting to Google). And also that after submitting to Goolge, you would have to wait for 3 to 4 months before your website ever appears on the google Page Rank.
How true is this?

Its true but if you have backlinks then it appears even quicker like my website appeared on google within a week

Then wait for some time in order to see your site in the search results. And in order to get a page rank for your site, you will have to wait for 3-4 months or may be more. Pagerank depends on the number and quality of backlinks that you will build for your site.

 

just by posting in this thread, your site should start to get picked up more quickly. However you also need to spend time every day building bac links to your site from do follow forums and blogs

Firstly you should improve your website quality then add it to forums, social network sites and directories.

 

I think getting indexed in google doesn't take months. Yeah if you are talking about the site's ranking and PR then well, it can either take you ages to reach PR7-PR 6 or it might take you just months to reach PR6-7. I think the MAIN factor is backlinks. If you somehow manage to get backlinks to your site from high PR sites(this might turn out to be a little bit expensive method), then there are no reasons for your site not having high PR.

AND all the suggestions that tehmina11 stated also play an important role and should not in any case ignored.
