Ok, now I have your attention... On here why do people post their milestones in posting? Im always seeing new threads like "Woo! I got 100 posts" These seem like spam threads? Do these people get infracted? Posts of a similar value posted in BST would be infracted. Why are they accepted in general? You still get post count in general... Is the only thing people aim for in forums a high post count? Also, I have noticed that in huge forums, and I mean HUGE forums, that they don't display post counts. Anyway, that is just something I wanted to say. Thank you.

It is posted because people are proud to reach it and take it as an achievement, but yeah "100th post" etc. should not be allowed also, your thread title caught me for a minute
Why are you against such posts? Is it because they don't offer any value? If that's the case, I can show you a number of insanely crappy threads in this forum which don't offer any value. People come up with brilliant questions like 'Who is sexier - Men or Women?'. Yet those threads are not reported. So, if we are going to hunt down people who start crappy threads, let's start from these threads. JMHO.

Im not sure if you are familiar with a game called Runescape? Well on their forums they don't display post count and on http://www.gtaforums.com They are just a few I can think of.

IMHO if it is 1k, 2k, 5k etc it seems to be ok as it is quite an achievement. What I really feel is spammy are those that post I hit 100 posts. Goodness, a quick poster can do that in a single day!
Does anyone know how long that forum has been up and running? Thats crazy member count for a forum, I know Tom on myspace has like 241million friends but thats nothing lol
