What are your favorite places (besides dp of course) to buy and sell websites and why?

    - DP Here at dp you'll find lots of low cost websites. and there is a lot of activty
    - Sitepoint : Larger sites seem to do better there then they do here
    - eBay? anyone can recommand it selling a true site there?
    -dealasite.com

what other places and most important why...low prices fast corwd big spenders etc etc. Looking for some input

Are we talking fully developed sites or domains?

I prefer Sitepoint (for developed sites and some domains) and Pool (for cheap domains).

Never heard of dealasite.com, why does it look so fishy to me? How many sites have you sold there?

Anymore, I'm not too impressed by what people are selling at SitePoint. And I think every website for sale at eBay is a scam or built to con someone into buying it.

It seems DP is one of the better resources for finding sites for sale as long as you can dig through the bad blogs built on dropped domains, image hosts and proxy sites that get listed.

I think sitepoint is one of the best places.

Besides these sedo.com and some other sites are reputed for selling websites.

I've heard some forums only allow you to sell if you pay a membership, not sure if Sitepoint but DNforum as far as I know.

    I would try ebay.
Sitepoint is good but they charge for listings and have a smaller audience than ebay.
You can try DP but DP isn't great for buying/selling sites.

Are you serious? I honestly doubt it and wouldn't be surprised if it's your site as there are almost no replies to posts there.

But if you are serious...had any luck with it?

SP is the best. You will find serious buyers who have money, and know the worth of websites.

DP's BST is nice, but it's cluttered with a lot of scams, $50.00 blogs, and basically sites that will never make you money. You will occasionally find some gems, but they will be knocked off page 1, 2, 3, like a lead turd.

However, if you are looking for specific niches... like adult, domains, web hosting, and so on. It's best to seek out boards that deal with those. They have buy and sell forums typically, and the stuff for sale tends to be higher end.
