Alright guys, I've actually asked this question before but never followed it through as I was figuring other stuff out at the time. I think Black4man, you were able to answer this. So I'm looking through other Ezine authors articles and halfway through a 1000 word article, (more than 300 words still remaining - so it's not the resource box) the author has included a link from a text link "direct" to the sales page of Procatol. Not strictly clickbank related but applicable. So how is this possible? It's in the article body, so I take it when this person submitted the article, it was their own domain, and once ezine approved it, they've then created a redirect straight to the sales page skipping the lander. How is this done? Probably straight forward, but still not sure. Could someone kindly advise, Would be much appreciated, Thanks guys,
You can redirect straight to the sales page, but only using a top level domain, like www.example.com or www.mywebsite.info If you try to do a redirect via subdomain or subdirectory, your article will be disapproved. However, I would recommend to set up your own landing page with review of one or few related products and direct traffic there. The conversion rates are much higher, and you will also be able to use your landing pages to give backlinks to your other sites.
Article is: Here Cheers for quick response. The power of having a direct link to the landing page must be pretty sweet though. Will test and see how it goes. My lander is one of say 30 pages on my site, and is a review of various products, but losing alot of traffic. Will be nice to test this way though. I set up the redirect through my hosting package right?, cheers,
hmm yeh he might get that taken down not sure why somebody didnt spot that hes not using a top level domain
That's Interesting ,It is not top level domain ,yes he directed directly to sales page.is Ezinearticles changed that rule?
if i do a redirect through my main domain does it still count my hops in my custom channel so i can see where the hops are coming from
*Get a .com *make it a quick lander for now. *Submit to eZ *Once they approve - add a redirect tag on your .com lander, leave the hoplink as is Vwala. Oh I forgot one - *Get your account banned if you get caught. In this case it seems to be a mistake on an editors behalf, and or a paid mistake, but this isn't THAT uncommon, whoever that is - is either very lucky, or a little too close to home there. N
Do ezine ever re-review articles? If so, he'll get a slap or some kind. Do ezine have some sort of "snitch" feature like Google do?
If you created another ezine account. Gave it a go, then got busted: Would ezine ban all existing accounts, or just this one? As they'd only have the I.P address to go buy if you were to change both lander and affiliate ID. Just out of curiosity.
