Hi All, I joined a online business a few months ago and had a premade capture page. I made some changes to the site and tried optimizing it. What do you suggest I can do to optimize it (to get organic traffic)? Top 5 suggestions would help. Any more are also welcome. My site: www.top10homebusinesses1.com Thanks a lot.
Check out this tool it can help you with your on-site SEO. If you dont see the submission form then enter your email address on the right.
i will suggest you to fix your site first even before you start doing SEO on it. your site looks like a typical landing page with sales pitch which most people bail out of at first glance.
Yeah, ok. How do you suggest I "fix" it? Considering all the "crap" out there put together by supposed copyright experts, my page is not that salesy. Give me an example of a "great" capture page. Thanks.
It will be costly if you want to do it, its not impossible. How much is your budget? PM me nad I may be able to help. I think directory submissions and bookmarking as well as some blog posts will be all youll need.
If your market is quite large it would be hard to use SEO to optimise your website for ranking on overall keyterms. However this does not make SEO worthless, the idea here would be to pin point a specific area in your market (the niche) and tackle this area first. You would use keyword research to find the most effective keywords in this area then using SEO optimise your website for these keywords. This overtime will take effect on the search engines and increase your traffic, you would then need to repeat this process for another area of your market.
I used a keyword tool and chose less competitive keywords. I put these in my meta tags and some on my page in text. Will this help? Before, I was only being found by ONE keyword. What else can I do? How important are meta tags (title, keyword, content etc.)? Which are the most important? Any order they should be in? How should they be setup? Include a keyword in the title? Any other tips to optimize my site (SEO or otherwise)? Look at it here. Thanks a lot.
