You are right but India won first ever Gold as individual Gold and people of my country are crazy since it is biggest archivements. Although it already discussed on Olympics thread but so far I found 3 threads.
It is India's first ever individual gold in Olympics....in more than 80 years. Many Indians weren't really expecting medals in this Olympics.....
Yes Dani, It is India's first individual Gold and India did their best. We have no hope for any medal but now we have 1 medal and it is Gold.
one more good news for India "Saina Nehwal in Badminton quarters" she defeated fourth seed Chen Wang of Hong Kong.
Yes it was great match and she won 2-1 against Wolrd No.4 Players. She have a good chance to won medal if she won next match.

Congratulations to Bindra for aquiring the first individual Goal Medal in Shooting for India. Saina Nehwal is also a promising candidate. There are still lots of medals to come...... Cheers for India....
Well if she won next match then we can ensure Bronze Medal from her. She looks good and after beating World No.4, she is looking for Gold.
Oh that's not good news. But I know she wouldn't won the medal in front of good players and she is bussy with ads rather then Tennis.
Who saw the USA Men's 4x100 (swimming relay) OWN France last night (~13.5 hours ago)? THAT WAS AWESOME!!! best part was that France was talking smack prior to the race...'we are going to smash the Americans, that's what we came here to do' How do you like me now!! USA! USA!
I was watching this last night and it was an incredible race. That was quite a comeback and I love it when people get all cocky and talk trash only to get beaten and leave with their heads down. The US team said they would do their talking in the pool and not engage in the trash talking. That is how it should be done, with class.
That race was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen in my life. They were so far ahead of the world record line. My heart started to sink when France pulled away, then all of sudden the guy stiffened up. Talked all that smack, and didn't get the win LOL. Moments like that is what makes the Olympics so awesome.
