Hey, here is the difference you are going on and on about Chechnya. Chechnya did not want independence when the Soviet Union collapsed, so by all means they are a PART of Russia. Abkhaziya and South Ossetia are not a part of Russia and they are not a part of Georgia, since they chose to be alone. Got it now? As well as US did NOT have these rights with: Iraq Serbia Jugoslavia and now Iran
No,I am not wrong.I know it was sold. But South Ossetia is a part of Georgia. Now Russia is not recognition it.In the future, according the same logic, maybe Russia will not recognition they sold Alaska.
Again, please give us more info if you say Chechnya did not want independence .But seems you can not give.
I talk to them and live with them as Im close. If you prefer wiki, its your choice, you can also watch the CNN, I think you will like it.
Abkhaziya and South Ossetia are not parts of Russia, there is no reason Russian Army in .And the whole world recognition Abkhaziya and South Ossetia are Georgia's.
There is no documents or so that south ossetia is a part of georgia. Its in unrecognized status, thats why UN approved russian peacekeepers in there. If I say Alaska is a part of Russia, no one will believe me. However you do believe georgian president. If you need it come to Chechnya, I fed up talking about Chechnya with you. They blew up my town, which is not a CHECHEN territory. Their goal is to bring the whole North Caucasus to a war with Russia, thats what you call independence? Shish. I call it terrorism.
Please give me more info about Chechnya.Otherwise,I have reasons to doubt what you said. How do you know?Even you can't give any info. And outh ossetia is a part of georgia. No counrties doubt it.
the whole world does not recognizes it. CNN isnt the whole world. Russian Army defends RUSSIAN civilians, so go and read more then come back. The russian constituon is to defend its own citizens, and NOT only on russian territory. Got it now? A war against russian citizens means a war against Russia. It was, at night on full scale with tanks, and air support, they destroyed the whole capital. Later on Russia replied.
No,that's not Russia's land,no reason there. Not CNN says,in fact no countries doubt it,maybe only Russia. No countries Recognition South Ossetia including Russia. That's funny Russia to defend a South Ossetia even it is not Recognition it.
According to Georgia, a day before the attacks, South Ossetian separatist forces attacked villages in Georgia (Nuli and Avnevi) causing civilian casualties. Source: http://www.eurasianet.org/departments/insight/articles/eav080708.shtml Now what? Who's telling the truth?
Yea and then Georgia shelled the city with MRLs ( Multiple rocket launchers ) killing 1400+ civilians ? How come international community does not call using MRLs which is not really precise weapon but it is very devastating as use of excesive force ? Double standards all around ....
In fact these attacks were there for a long time from both sides, and georgians were doing the same thing for 16 years. Thats why the peacekeepers were there, or do you think they were sitting and smoking there?? Oh, I fed up talking with you. If you hate Russia, good luck. Find out more on this situation since 1990 , not since 2008. Then we will talk.
It doesn't matter who started it. The Korean War was started by the South doing raids into the North, trying to provoke them in the hopes that in an all-out war the US would support them in conquering the North. But who remembers that now?
Why hate Russia?I hope Russia become a peace and freedom defender, not a killer and aggressor.Russia should learn to respect other countires including Georgia.
I think it DOES, when you start it with tanks, air bombs, MLR's and everything you got in your arsenal comparing to a "separatist attack" as you said.
1990s,chechnya declares an inpendent country, and there are more inpendent countries declared. Now they belongs to Russia.
Really? Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tadjikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Azerbaidzan, Latvia, Estonia, Litva, Belurussia all belong to Russia now? Wow, I didnt know that. Why dont you read more on this and come here?
