Well Tea, Sri Lanka require another 78 runs and they have 8 wickets in the hand. So it should be eassy for them. Indian bowlers did excellent jon in the series but batsmen never came out at front. If India can put 50 to 80 runs more then it might be difficult for Sri Lanka.
yep indian openers only did the job... think sachin couldn't break the record. other middle oders batsmen also couldn't perform well. But i know in ODI series there are many good young batsmen to play, we hope a wonderful 5 matches. As a sri lankan i think sanath jayasuriya will bring a nice time for us. he is the our hero in ODI
Good for young players who doing good job otherwise Raina likely to be out from the team who did excellent batting in Asia Cup 2008.
As it is Sachin was more or less doing nothing for the team. If players like Raina or Rohit come into the team, maybe we can see a small ray of hope in the upcoming ODI series.
Yes even I think Rohit Sharma should be introduce in test matches as he can spend more times on the match and his batting style perfect for Test matches too.
yes i agreed with you. senior or newcomer is not a problem, if the batsmen perform well, then no need to think again. everyone know Raina, yuaraj, rohith and dhoni are good batsmen in indian team. But they were not included in this test series.

Rohit Shama proved his talents in all types of Cricket and I think he should give one chance in Test Cricket as he is a good player for Test matches.

I agree with you. I think they should dropped from next series so they can also feel that they need to perform well if they want to play for India. I am sure if we have Dhoni and Yuvraj in the team, we will have different results. Since 3 players didn't do anything in the series.
Well, it is all upto Dhoni to compensate the lost dignity, hope he shows the same spirit as he showed in Australia this year.
