What PR is good

I am new to webdesign....so can anyone tell me what pr(page rank) is good for a site

 

PR0 to PR10, 10 being the best

 

Good or best? best is 10, good is any value above 5

 

Think first about getting your site very important for internet users and google will rank your site for they measure your site importance.

 

pr0 could be good

 

Surf around and see websites with PR5 and above. Generally, you will see much quality in the content, high feed subscribers and traffic. Would you agree that they are good?

 

Ok well.... if you go HERE then you see that site gained a PR5. Theres another site that is a "parked domain" and also has PR5
(the only rational conclusion would be due to it being "one word domain name" thats old with ok (non targeted) traffic)
But thats no reason to give it such importance

Regardless PR is NOT a very good reference to use when trying to find info and flawed to say the least Imho.

The only "Good Thing" about PR is that if you link up with a site that has high PR
and relevant content then it will push your site higher in the serps due to it being
a part of there "algo" equation.

Personally i think its just "pot luck" handed out quarterly

A PR10 is the best. Work hard until you achieve the perfect 10 rank.

 

As much as you see Green bar in Google toolbar higher for your website is good.

Is it even possible to acheive pr10?

 

I like PR1 or PR2.
If your site appear on that page then you will get benefit.

 

Anything above 5 or 6 is always good

 

Having a high PR is nice but it does not bring any real traffic to your website. The only thing is if you have a high PR website, then many webmasters will like your website because they want to get a backlinks from you. That means you will have many webmasters as visitors to your website. It is nice having some visitors like webmasters but you cannot make any cent with webmasters.

 

Traffic is more important than pagerank.

 

Now if you could only get the rest of these guys to listen.

PR0,PR1,PR2 are waste... PR3 looks better. PR4 sounds good.. and anything more than PR5 is very very good.

 

But how can we achieve the PR10. Do you have some good ideals about this ?

Define good first.. If you did it, then I guess it is good to have PR0 - PR5 for the first time. And if you only copy paste content and still have more than PR5.. and I guess it is not good because you doesn't deserve it at all..
