Yes, I agree with it 1000 times!

Just look at whats happening in south lebanon.
The UN forces are there and according to resolution 1701 they are supposed to stop hizbullah from being armed by syria and iran.

    Guess what?
Hizbullah is now 10 times stronger, the UN thinks they are there for a "miss universe 2008" contest and do nothing but fooling around!

They say they are doing their job.
You think they are honest? They do nothing.

The UN we have today is worth *.

The UN is like a broken clock. Even a broken clock is right twice a day - and is wrong the rest of the time.

Most countries feel the same about the UN. When the UN agree with what you are doing, countries tout its support. When the UN does not agree, countries ignore it and claim it has no value. It is all true. It is a joke of a world body. That being said, it is a necessary evil because it does at least provide a forum to, in theory, discuss issues facing the worlds nations in a productive manner.

Nobody would allow their own country to suffer by following the dictates of the UN when it is not in their national interests. This goes for Russia, the US, Iran, Israel, etc.

And yeah, the UN is biased, because its members are biased. Just because they sit in a building called the UN does not make them better than they are as individuals and nations.

Yes, mate. Unfortunately to you, there are other great countries in the world and its not just about US.

so the UNITED NATIONS MISSION IN KOSOVO was dishonest too? Lets see what you will say now))

Do you guys realize, that if you are saying UN is useless that means international laws are useless and we are going back to ancient world.

I actually agree that power and strength is the most important things now, but approving one side and dissapproving the other for doing the same thing is not acceptable.

    Let me correct:

Ukraine has voiced its moral support for Georgia and the US has begun airlifting 2000 Georgian troops from Iraq back to Georgia cos Georgia simply doesnt have that kind of carrying planes.

Good for them, we are ready anytime.

"Ukraine has voiced its support for Georgia" Only president with his lackeys (and please let's not go in explanation why HE DO support Georgia, it's so obvious, lol), majority of people against it. State Dume deputies even thinking about placing him in jail for helping Georgia.

Dont worry, you will be fine with US :)

US and Russia will just play chess with you two. Both sell weapons and getting a good money for it, now the time to watch an action.:(

    Back on topic.....

Ex-envoy: Georgia modeled its army after IDF
"The private company of Brig.-Gen. (res.) Gal Hirsch (Galilee Division commander during the Second Lebanon War) has been operating in Georgia for some time now and is providing consultation to the Georgian army," he noted.

You see its all connected to topic.

He looks like it, I saw that as well. Its hard to believe that a person who talks like that is a president.

By the way, the georgians aged 18 and over, the ones who dont want to go to war are getting jailed for 4 years. Nice president, at least he doesnt shoot them.

Israel has its own problem and its 10 times worse than Georgias problem.

This guy Gal Hirsch who is helping the Georgian army was sent away from the IDF after a failure so he found some work in the Georgian army.

He is a private man, Israel has nothing to do with it.

Of course he is right, although he denies this help for some reason. Here is a better link:

    http://www.stratfor.com/sitrep/israel_georgia_israel_halt_arms_sales_georgia

Actually the fighting was held in the sea now, I dont know what Georgia is doing, but they speaking more than actually doing so.

They might have rejected it, I would as well, after Georgia killed 2K people and demolished the whole South Ossetian capital, they need to finish this Hitler-like president off. Although, I doubt that Russia will attack Georgian towns. They will just sink the whole georgian military.

I dont deny arm sales. Israel is selling only defensive weapons to Georgia.

And here is the stinky part from the Russians
Israel was selling weapons to Georgia.
    Russia asked Israel to stop.
    Israel stopped.

Russia was selling weapons to Syria.
    Israel asked Russia to stop.
    Russia ignored Israel.

Israel is no sucker so Israel continued selling weapons to Georgia (defensive only).

    Comment?
