Is it possible to change my country on Paypal account?

Hello! I just "changed" my country. On paypal i still have the old country. If I go to edit account, I can only edit Adress, phone number, etc. How can I change my country? Or I need to make a new account?

You need the proof for that.Send the mail to paypal and they will ask you the details.You submit all the details.I think they will change the country.

 

I think it's very hard to do..You have to contact Paypal customer service centre asap..
Also you can create another paypal account...

 

No, you cannot change the country as they do not want people to sign up from one country and make changes to it since different countries have different terms and status. What you need to do is to close your paypal account once you leave the country and then sign up for a new one when you arrive in the new country.

Of course if you are only travelling for a short holiday or for the short term, you just need to inform paypal that you are in the new country for whatever period and then that should settle it.

 

You can't change it yourself.
You should phone PP and tell them your situation and do as they ask

 

Hello guys! I already made another account . That was the unique solution.

 

According to the PayPal guidelines, Incase you have changed your country permanently then you would be required to close your present PayPal account and open a new one from the country you are presently residing in.

Incase you are on a short visit to another country, you can continue using your existing PayPal account, if possible, send across an Email to PayPal informing about your travel details ( not compulsary).

 

Don't forget to close your previous account otherwise both of your accounts will be limited and you would be put to hardship

 

The best way is that you ahould call the paypal.They will tell you the procedure about that.

no, it is not possible to change country in paypal.. if you want to change country then you have to close this account and have to create new account..

 

If you have to close your account and open a new one that is a disaster for anyone that has been using them for a long time and has a good reputation. It means they will have to start from a zero reputation again.

Look like I a going to be having a serious argument with them in a month or so when i move.

many countries R NOT supported by paypal i dont know why thy are excluding some countries

 

According to my views,
Pay-Pal takes Pan Card for verification process, if that Pan-Card, Bank account etc... belongs to suppose India then Paypal account will be INDIAN account,
If u live in suppose India and u want to make a Paypal account of U.S, it is not possible because u cannot manage a bank account of US and also u cannot manage a Pan card of US,
So according to my thought changing country on Paypal account is not possible.
