I have a really ugly website name, <free website> :) Anyone know a place I can go to make it appear pretty? What is that called? my site looks like this
dkdkdkdkdkd.kdkdkdkdkdk.dkdkdkkdkd.com really large I would like it pretty and to the point I think I am losing business due to the largness of my link.
    Any suggestions?????
Thank you for reading and taking the time to respond

Why don't you just invest $10 and get a real domain? Get some cheap hosting and you're all set. "Master of your domain" etc. :p

There's only so much you can do with a free hosted domain.

Not exactly sure what this has to do with CJ though ... :)

The cost of getting your own domain name is SO small compared to how much better you can do if you have it that there should be no questions. In my sig is a link to a place where you get a domain name free when you pay to host a website but regardless of how you choose to get the domain name, you really should just decide on what you want, buy it if it's available and go from there.

I agree with my good friend from Australia. Go to Yahoo! and get a domain name for less than $26 for the first three months and then $11 something afterwords. If you can't make that much a month with "your online business" I'd suggest to find other ways to boost your income stream.

GO to 1&1 (www.1and1.com ) they are good, one of the best out there and the price is just $6.99 per year!

Your domain will come with lots of free stuff like:

    Domain forwarding
    URL Masking
    E-mail Auto-responder
    Sub domains
    Private Domain Registration
    and more...

    GOOD LUCK :)

    NOT TOO FAST.........YAHOO ISN'T GOOD........

Talking about DOMAIN NAMES, If you read the T.O.S you will notice that YAHOO domains will go to $35 per year after the FIRST year, hehe so YAHOO domain is cheap just for the 1 year, other companies will charge you between $6-$8 dollars for the 1 year THEN $9.99 per year, every year...and they will give you lots of good free stuff with the domain registration!

Also YAHOO WEB HOSTING, why pay $11.95 per month if lots of companies charge $5 per month or less for a basic hosting? You will pay $5 per month for hosting and get your domain FREE!

    YAHOO = :eek::mad:

I've had good experience with godaddy.com.

Don't pay for more than a year though. Prices drop so fast - a year from now it will be $2 per year.

yes godaddy is good, I have a domain with them, I like their email platform, but I don't use their hosting, honestly I love HOMESTEAD.COM their basic hosting cost $4.99 (5 pages website) BUT if you need to upgrade then is expensive its $19.99 or $49.99 like if you want EVERYTHING... shopping cart, unlimited pages, domain, + traffic, etc but the HOMESTEAD software that you install is just the best, you have a simple one and the other its very good that you can install from free too, I will pay for it soon because you can build a very professional website there, for the basic 5 pages website package is cheap, only $4.99 then you buy a domain for $9.99 and you're done, that's all.

You are right, only pay for 1 year!
