I have put this in clickbank forum because i am looking for advice from people who use articles to drive traffic to the landing pages

i have started writing my own articles as ive found quality articles cost money and it cuts into my profits

Anyone have any advice how to research a subject your writing about
do you make notes of key points?
or just read for a while then write what you remember?

    any help would be great

    thanx

Well since I am still in high school taking English this last year I was taught the following.
Your article, letter, or whatever needs to be 5 paragraphs total.

1st Paragraph - Introduction about your product etc...

2nd Paragraph - Supporting fact about your product...

3rd Paragraph - Another supporting fact about your product...

4rd Paragraph - And one more supporting fact about your product

5th Paragraph - Concluding paragraph of the last 3 paragraphs.

That is the format you should stick with to when writing a good article.
Also give some good supporting sentences in the 2,3,4,5 paragraphs...
Just what my English teacher taught me.

You learn by doing. As long as you know the basics, like title, introduction, body, etc, you can write articles....They won't be perfect at the beginning, but once you get used to it, your articles will improve.

Make sure you do some keyword research and find non-competitive keywords. Target those in your articles.

For me, I just rewrite articles that are already written. It's fast and easy. I can write a 300 word article in around 5 minutes now.

    That's a perfect advice.

You don't have to write articles from scratch. There are tons of articles, which are already there on the web, so just take them and rewrite.

For keyword research, I would recommend:

    SEO Book Keyword Tool
    Google's keyword tool
    Wordtracker

To find low-competitive keywords, simply type a general term, like "lose weight" and then find keywords, which get like 10-15 searches a day, or even less.

Re-writing articles is really simple, I'm not sure if I can provide an explanation. Just use the same points in that article, just write it in a different way. That's how I do it.

I usually have 2-3 articles on the same subject open, and just alternate between them with the different points. If that makes sense :)

LOL :D Pixeladd, stop asking stupid questions.

YOU LEARN BY DOING. Instead of wasting your time here, you could have written lots of articles.

Your first articles won't be perfect, but the ones later will be better, then even better, etc....

Yeah, but while re-writing, don't copy paste anything. Just read the article and then try to formulate it in your own words and its better to read two articles and then write one to get some different ideas and thoughts about the topic.

    Best of luck.
